Humayun's Tomb - World Heritage site
Humayun the mughal emperor died in 1556 and this tomd was commenced by his widow Hamida bano Begham. It is also known as predecessor of Taj mahal owing to its architectural similarity. It is the first distinct example of proper Mughal style, which was inspired by Persian architecture. the tomb is surrounded by beautifully laid gardens.

Qutub Minar - World Heritage site
Qutub Minar is one of the oldest monuments in Delhi dating back to 12th century and it is the highest tower in India with a height of 72.5m. The foundation was laid by founder of Delhi Sultanate Qutubudding Aibak to give call for the prayers. The minaret is surrounded by other buildings of historical importance like Quwat ul islam mosque, Alai Darwaza, the tomb of Iltutmish.

Akshardhaam temple
The temple dedicated to Swaminarayan sect of India is recently built and is one of the biggest temple premises in India. The temple is situated in north east Delhi on the banks of river Yamuna. The sandstone is beautifully carved and this magnificent structure is based on huge pillars.
