A short visit to best of North IndiaThe tour package is designed to include most popular destinations of North India. Sight seeing places during the tour will include The Taj Mahal, Amber Fort and Palace of Jaipur, Red Fort of Delhi, temples of Khajuraho, Ghaats of Varanasi and Stupa of Sarnath. Brief Itinerary :
Day 1 : Arrival at New Delhi
Transfer to your hotel from New Delhi international airport. Rest of the day a leisure.
Day 2 : Delhi to Jaipur 270 km 5 hours.
Day 3 : Jaipur
Tour of the historical monuments of Jaipur and elephant ride.
Day 4 : Jaipur to Agra 250 km 5 hours.
On the way tour of Fatehpur Sikri.
Day 5 : Agra
Full day sight seeing tour of Agra.
Day 6 : Agra to Khajuraho Lusury Train + Car
Visit orcha during journey.
Day 7 : Khajuraho
Full day visit to the temples of Khajuraho.
Day 8 : Khahuraho to Varanasi By Air or Train
Visit Ghaats of Varanasi.
Day 9 : Varanasi to New Delhi By Air
Half day sight seeing tour of Delhi.
Day 10 : Delhi to onward

Itinerary
Detailed Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive New Delhi
You will be received at airport by our executive followed by transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Delhi
Day 02 : Delhi-Jaipur (265 km 5 hours drive)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur & arrive by afternoon and check in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, you can visit local traditional markets. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Jaipur (Visit to historical places of Jaipur)
After breakfast, our local guide will take you on the tour of Jaipur starting with Amber fort. Here you can take elephant for ascent to the fort. After lunch visit City Palace of Jaipur built in Indo-Mughal style of architecture, Jantar Mantar, the Astronomical observatory built by Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Jai Singh. Drive by Hawa Mahal or Palace of wind. Overnight at Jaipur
Day 04 : Jaipur-Agra (250 km about 5-6 hours journey)
Morning drive to Agra- the city of Taj Mahal. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted township built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to a severe scarcity of water. At Agra our local guide will assist your hotel check in and will brief you about next day's program. Evening free for leisure activities. Overnight at Agra.
Day 05 : Agra (visit Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) and other monuments of Agra)
Morning visit the Taj Mahal built in 1630 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The monument has been described as the most extravagant ever built for love. Later visit Agra Fort, where most of the buildings are made of red sandstone. Also visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-daula the father of Noorjehan, the interior of tomb is beautiful carved and can be compared with that of Taj Mahal. Overnight at Agra.
Day 06 : Agra-Jhansi-Khajuraho
After early morning breakfast transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi Express (0810/1030hrs) for Jhansi. A private car will receive you at Jhansi railway station and drive to Khajuraho en-route visiting Orcha known for beautiful fort complex consisting of palaces, temples, cenotaphs, and memorials. The complex can be reached by a multi-arched bridge where you would find three palaces in a quadrangle. Evening arrival at Khajuraho and check in at hotel. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Day 07 : Khajuraho (Full day visiting group of temples at Khajuraho)
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for guided tour of Khajuraho temples which are categorised into three different groups, the Western, Eastern, and Southern groups. The Western Group has 14 temples. The Chaunsath Yogini, Lalguan Mahadev, Parvati, Varaha, Matangesvara, Lakshmana, Vishvanath and Nandi, Chitragupta, Devi Jagdamba and Kandariya Mahadeo temples belong to this group. The Eastern Group, consists of seven temples (four Jain and three Hindu). The Parsvanath, Adinath, Shantinath, and Ghantai temples belong to the Jains while the Vamana, Javari and Brahma are Hindu temples. Overnight at Khajuraho.
Day 08 : Khajuraho-Varanasi (By air) Morning free for leisure activities at your hotel, later transfer to airport to board flight for Varanasi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening visit Ghaats and take a walking tour on the streets of Benaras lined up with colourful shops. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Varanasi-Delhi (transfer to airport for flight to Delhi)
Early morning enjoy a boat cruise on river Ganges when thousands of devotees take dip in holy river from different colorful Ghats of Banaras. Later excursion to Sarnath a Buddhist pilgrimage about 10 km from Varanasi, associated directly with life of Buddha. Afternoon transfer to Varanasi airport to board flight for New Delhi. Night stay at New Delhi.
Day 10 : New Delhi to Onward Morning sight seeing tour of Delhi. Later transfer to New Delhi airport for your flight to Home country. With this your Best of North India tour ends.
