About Hotel
The palace was built by Maharaj Ganga Singh on the side of beautiful lake in Gajner which lies about 35 km from Bikaner. The palace spread over more than 5000 acres was primarily a hunting lodge for the royal family and their guests. The historic palace of gajner is divided into four different parts: Dungar Niwas, Mandir Chowk, Gulab Niwas and Champa Niwas. The Gajner palace is converted into heritage hotel to offer global travellers a rich treasure of bygone days purely in natural environment.
Accommodation
The hotel offers 45 rooms in all, out of which 32 are deluxe rooms and 13 historical suites. Rooms are planned in different sections of the palace and carefully renovated to preserve the original theme. The hotel's 13 historic suites are in Dungar Niwas where British dignitaries stayed during their leisure trips to the Gajner Palace. Rooms are fitted with luxury amenities to meet requirements of international travellers. Beautifully carved Jharokhas (windo seats) affords view of extensive flora and fauna around the palace.
Recreation and Other Facilities
Manoranjan Amphitheatre of Hotel Gajner Palace is great venue for organising events which can accommodate upto 140 guests. Guests can visit Gajner wildlife sanctuary which is house of many wild animals as well as migratory birds. Jeep and camel safari can be organised into nearby villages and sand dunes. Special dinners can be organised amidst sand dunes, which in itself is memorable experience.
