Mehrangarh Fort Jodhpur
The fort was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 and successive rulers added to it for centuries. Built with Red sandstone massive fort of Jodhpur is unique in its kinds, which has a perfect blend of strength and beauty. Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum
The palace was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh ji (1929-1942) as a famine releif work for his subjects. The Palace is also known as chhittar palace due to the special yellow sandstone from which the palace was carved out. One portion of Umaid palace is used by present king as his royal residence, one portion is converted into beautiful heritage hotel, remaining part is government.

Jaswant Thada
Situated just below Mehrangarh fort Jaswant Thada is Royal Crematorium and is named after memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II of Jodhpur. The memorial is built with white marble in temple like architecture.
