The former hunting lodge of the royal families constructed about 75 years back is renovated and converted into a heritage stay at ranthambore. The hotel is managed by Taj Hotels India, offering quality services to the guests coming to Ranthambhore National Park. Taj Sawai Madhopur Lodge is about 20 minutes drive from Tiger reserve.
Accommodation
In all Taj hotel Ranthambore has 36 guest rooms including 6 Suites with a private courtyard and 2 Deluxe Suites overlooking the Front Lawns. All rooms are well appointed with tasteful interiors, mostly depicting tiger theme. Rooms are categorised into Superior Rooms, Luxury rooms, Junior Suites with Private sitout, Deluxe Suite- Rich in history, these spacious rooms are part of the original 1930-1935 accommodation, used by the Maharaja of Jaipur and his personal guests. In fact, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip once stayed in these suites on their visit to Sawai Madhopur. These rooms come with a private terrace overlooking the Front Lawns.
