About Laxmi vilas Palace
The palace was built by Maharana Bhupal singh in 1911, after independence palace was taken over by government of India and was converted into a heritage hotel. The hotel is now owned and maintained by The lalit group. A new wing is added later which form the palace deluxe rooms of the hotel while the old heritage building constitutes all suites.

Palace deluxe rooms are in newly renovated wing and they are further classified into Valley view which overlooks the city of Udaipur and lakeview overlooking Fateh sagar lake.
